Horton Stack Door Description
Used mostly for hangars with heavy, twin engine or light jet aircraft
which have high pressure tires. Required materials include a 4"
Channel - 5.4 lbs. per foot - and a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/4: angle iron
welded in the center. the position of the track should place the
outside leg of the 4" Channel 1 5/8" outside of the jam, and /or the
angle iron set 1/4" inside the jam. Recessed track is installed at the
same time the foundation is poured.
